About LawHum
LawHum exists because finding out what you're owed shouldn't require trusting an anonymous website.
Class-action settlements, government refund programs, and mass-tort litigation move billions of dollars a year, but the facts live in court PDFs, agency press releases, and administrator microsites that expire. We collect those primary sources into one place, keep them current, and link every fact back to where we found it.
Three things make us different:
- Official sources only. Deadlines and payouts are verified on the court-appointed administrator's website or the agency's own pages — never copied from other aggregators.
- We never touch your claim. Filing is free and happens on the official site. We don't collect claims, charge fees, or sell your information to law firms.
- Open data. Our datasets — including a digitized 12-year history of the federal MDL roster — are free to download.
LawHum is reader-supported and may earn revenue from clearly-labeled advertising and sponsorships. Advertisers never influence which settlements we list or what we say about them.
